নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪: নারায়নগঞ্জের সাতখুন মামলায় ফাঁসির সাজা থেকে খালাস চেয়ে আজই আপিল করেছেন প্রধান আসামি নূর হোসেন ও তার গাড়ির চালক। আইনজীবী অ্যাডভোকেট লুৎফর হোসেন আকন্দ বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। সোমবার ৩০ জানুয়ারী দুপুরে হাইকোর্টে নূর হোসেনের পক্ষে এ আপিল করেন তিনি।
তিনি বলেন, নারায়নগঞ্জের সাত খুন নিয়ে দুটি মামলার রায় হয়েছে। ১২০০ পৃষ্ঠার রায় দিয়েছেন আদালত। এগুলো ভালো করে পড়ে আমরা একটি আবেদন তৈরী করেছি। সাতখুনের ঘটনায় নুর হোসেন সরাসরি জড়িত এমন কোনো তথ্য প্রমাণ প্রসিকিউশন দেখাতে পারেননি। অপহরণ, খুন বা লাশগুমের সাথে আমাদের মক্কেলরা জড়িত সেটি কেউ প্রমাণ করতে পারেনি।
আমাদের মক্কেল নূরহোসেন আদালতে ১৬৪ ধারায় জবাবনবন্দিও দেননি। ঘটনার সাথে তার কোনো সম্পৃক্ততা নেই, এ জন্য আমরা বিচারক আদালতের রায়ের প্রতি ক্ষুব্ধ। আমরা আশা করছি আপিলের রায়ে নূরহোসেন ও তার গাড়ি চালক খালাস পাবেন।
গত ২২ জানুয়ারি আইনজীবী চন্দন সরকারসহ সাতখুন মামলার ৩৫ আসামির মধ্যে ২৬জনকে ফাঁসি ও ৯ জনকে বিভিন্ন মেয়াদে সাজা দেন আদালত। নারায়ণগঞ্জের জেলা ও দায়রা জজ সৈয়দ এনায়েত হোসেনের আদালত এ রায় ঘোষণা করেন।
