নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( রূপগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি ) : নারায়নগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জে পূর্ব শত্রুতার জের ধরে প্রতিপক্ষের লোকজন হাবিজুল ইসলাম (৩০) নামে এক যুবককে কুপিয়ে জখম করেছে বলে অভিযোগ পাওয়া গেছে। শনিবার ২২ অক্টোবর সকালে উপজেলার ভক্তবাড়ি এলাকায় ঘটে এ ঘটনা।
প্রত্যাক্ষদর্শী ও আহতর বাবা আবু বক্কর ছিদ্দিক জানান, পূর্ব শত্রুতার জের ধরে শনিবার সকালে ভক্তবাড়ি এলাকায় হাবিজুল ইসলামকে একা পেয়ে প্রতিপক্ষ নাজিম উদ্দিন,নাছির উদ্দিন, আবুল হোসেনসহ ৭/৮জন মিলে লাঠি দিয়ে পিটিয়ে ও রামদা দিয়ে কুপিয়ে জখম করে। এসময় তার ডাক চিৎকার শুনে আশ-পাশের লোকজন ছুটে আসলে প্রতিপক্ষের লোকজন পালিয়ে যায়। পরে স্থানীয়রা তাকে উদ্ধার করে উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে ভর্তি করান। এ ব্যাপারে রূপগঞ্জ থানায় আবু বক্কর বাদী হয়ে একটি অভিযোগ দায়ের করেছে। রূপগঞ্জ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা ইসমাইল হোসেন বলেন, এ ব্যাপারে একটি অভিযোগ পেয়েছি। আসামীকে গ্রেফতারের চেষ্টা চলছে।
