নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ : নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জে আশা সমিতি নামে একটি এনজিও থেকে ৪ মৃত ব্যক্তির পরিবারের হাতে ৬ লাখ ১৫ হাজার টাকা ঋণ মওকুফ করে উল্টো তাদের সঞ্চয়কৃত অর্থ প্রদান করা হয়েছে। বৃহস্পতিবার বিকেলে উপজেলার ভুলতা ব্রাঞ্চে আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে ওই চার পরিবারকে ঋণ মওকুফ করে সঞ্চয়ের অর্থ প্রদান করা হয়।
জানা যায়,এনজিও সদস্য মৃত জামির হোসেনের ৪ লাখ ৭৯ হাজার টাকা ঋণ মওকুফ করে সঞ্চয়ের ৫৮ হাজার টাকা প্রদান, মৃত আব্দুল জলিলের ৩২ হাজার টাকা ঋণ মওকুফ করে সঞ্চয়ের ১৮ হাজার টাকা, মৃত নাসির মিয়ার ৭৭ হাজার টাকা মওকুফ করে সঞ্চয়ের ১৩ হাজার টাকা ও জানু বেগমের ৯ হাজার টাকা ঋণ মওকুফ করে সঞ্চয়ের ৩০ হাজার টাকা প্রদান করা হয়। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন আশা সমিতির জেলা ম্যানেজার মিজানুর রহমান গাজী, এনজিও কর্মকর্তা আবুল কালাম আজাদ, সাইফুল ইসলাম, জিল্লুর রহমান, মজিবুর রহমান, সদস্য জিতু মিয়া, আলী হোসেন প্রমুখ।
