নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( রূপগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি ) : নারায়ণগঞ্জে রূপগঞ্জে জুয়েল মিয়া ও আরিফ মিয়া নামে দুই মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। ২৬ নভেম্বর শনিবার দুপুরে উপজেলার কায়েতপাড়া ইউনিয়নের চনপাড়া এলাকা থেকে তাদের গ্রেফতার করা হয়। গ্রেফতারকৃতরা হলেন, উপজেলার কায়েতপাড়া ইউনিয়নের চনপাড়া এলাকার মৃত সিরাজ মিয়ার ছেলে জুয়েল মিয়া ও আজাহারের ছেলে আরিফ মিয়া।
রূপগঞ্জ থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক (এসআই) ফরিদ আহমেদ জানান, জুয়েল মিয়া ও আরিফ মিয়া দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে তাদের নিজ নিজ এলাকায় মরন নেশা ইয়াবাসহ বিভিন্ন ধরনের মাদক বিক্রি করে আসছে। শনিবার দুপুরে অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ইয়াবা বিক্রি করার সময় জুয়েল মিয়ার কাছ থেকে ৪৬ পিস ও আরিফ মিয়ার কাছ থেকে ৩৩ পিস ইয়াবাসহ তাদের গ্রেফতার করা হয়। গ্রেফতারকৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে রূপগঞ্জ থানায় মামলার প্রস্তুতি চলছে।
