নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( রূপগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি ) : নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জ উপজেলার কর্ণগোপ এলাকার হাসেম ফুড কারখানার ভেতর থেকে সালাউদ্দিন (৫০) নামে এক ট্রাক চালকের লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। ২৬ অক্টোবর বুধবার রাতে ঐ ট্রাক চালকের লাশটি উদ্ধার করা হয়। সালাউদ্দিন নোয়াখালী জেলার কবিরহাট উপজেলার জাদবপুর এলাকার নুরুল হকের ছেলে।
রূপগঞ্জ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) ইসমাইল হোসেন জানান, কর্ণগোপ এলাকার হাসেম ফুড নামে কারখানা থেকে খাবার জাতীয় পণ্য বহন করে বিভিন্ন এলাকায় সাপ্লাই দেয়ার জন্য মঙ্গলবার রাত থেকেই ট্রাক নিয়ে উপেক্ষায় ছিলেন চালক সালাউদ্দিন। সোমবার দিনের যেকোন সময় ট্রাকের ভেতরেই সালাউদ্দিনের মৃত্যু হয়। কারখানার শ্রমিক-কর্মচারীরা ট্রাকের ভেতর লাশ দেখে পুলিশে খবর দেন। পরে পুলিশ ঐ চালকের লাশ উদ্ধার করে নারায়ণগঞ্জ সদর হাসপাতাল মর্গে পাঠায়। তবে, কি ভাবে মৃত্যু হয়েছে তা বোঝা যাচ্ছেনা। ময়না তদন্তের প্রতিবেদন আসলে প্রকৃত ঘটনা বলা যাবে বলেও জানান ওসি।
