নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( নওগাঁ প্রতিনিধি ) : নওগাঁর বদলগাছীতে দুই ভুয়া ডিবি পুলিশকে আটক করেছে এলাকাবাসী। পরে তাদের থানা পুলিশে সোপর্দ করে। আটকরা হলেন, জয়পুরহাট জেলার আক্কেলপুর উপজেলার হাস্তাবসন্তপুর গ্রামের মোসলেম উদ্দিনের ছেলে শহীদুল ইসলাম (৪০) ও একই গ্রামের মৃত আনছার আলীর ছেলে আজাদ রহমান (৩৭)। শনিবার উপজেলার বিলাশবাড়ী ইউনিয়নের হলুদবিহার গ্রাম থেকে তাদের আটক করা হয়।
স্থানীয়রা জানান, বিকেলে হলুদবিহার গ্রামে তোজাম্মেল হক ট্রাক্টরের ছেলে রনির বাড়ীতে মাদকদ্রব্য ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট কিনে। এসময় রনি টাকা চাইলে ওই দুইজন নিজেদের ডিবি পুলিশ পরিচয় দিয়ে টাকা দিতে অস্বীকার করে। এক পর্যায়ে তাদের সাথে কথাকাটাকাটির এক পর্যায়ে উত্তেজিত হয়ে রনিকে মারপিট করে। এসময় শাহিনুর আলম সহ হলুদ বিহার গ্রামের লোকজন তাদের কাছে পরিচয়পত্র দেখতে চাইলে ঔষধ কোম্পানির দুইটি ভিজিটিং কার্ড দেখায়। স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে সন্দেহ হলে তাদেরকে আটক করে স্থানীয় ইউনিয়ন পরিষদে নিয়ে আসে।
স্থানীয় ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান সাইদুর ইসলাম কেটু বলেন, যারা নিজেদের ডিবি পুলিশ পরিচয় দিয়েছে তারা আসলে মাদকসেবী। মাদক কেনাবেঁচা নিয়ে উভয়ের মধ্যে মারপিট হয়। সন্দেহ দেখা দিলে স্থাণীয়রা তাদের আটক করে ইউনিয়ন পরিষদে নিয়ে আসে। পরে তাদের বদলগাছী থানা পুলিশে সোপর্দ করা হয়।
থানার উপ-পরিদর্শক(এসআই) মারুফ বলেন, আটক করে ওই দুইজনকে থানায় নিয়ে আসা হয়। বিষয়টি তদন্ত সাপেক্ষে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করা হবে।
