নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( সিদ্ধিরগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি ) : সিদ্ধিরগঞ্জে র্যাব ও পুলিশের পৃথক অভিযানে গ্রেফতারকৃত দু’মাদক ব্যবসায়ী সোহেল সিকদারকে ৬ মাস ও রুবেলকে ২ মাসের কারাদন্ড প্রদান করেছে ভ্রাম্যমান আদলাত। সোমবার (৩ অক্টোবর) দুপুর ২ টায় মিজমিজি সাহেবপাড়া এলাকায় নারায়ণগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা আফরোজা আক্তার চৌধুরীর আদালত ওই মাদক ব্যবসায়ীদের সাজা ও উদ্ধারকৃত মাদক দ্রব্য আগুনে পুড়িয়ে ধ্বংস করার রায় প্রদান করেন। সাজাপ্রাপ্ত মাদক ব্যবসায়ী মোঃ সোহেল সিকাদার(২৫) নারায়ণগঞ্জ সদর থানার কালিবাজার এলাকার নান্নু সিকদারের ছেলে আর রুবেল বরিশাল জেলার আবদুল কালামের ছেলে। সে ফতুল্লা থানার চানমারী এলাকার ভাড়াটিয়া।
র্যাব-১১’র ডিএডি আশরাফুল ইসলামের নেতৃত্বে একটি দল গতকাল বেলা ১১ টায় কালিরবাজার এলাকা থেকে ১ কেজি গাঁজাসহ সোহেল সিকদারকে গ্রেফতার করে। একই দিনে ফতুল্লা থানার এএসআই রফিকুল ইসলাম নারায়ণগঞ্জ লিংক রোডের চাঁনমারী এলাকা থেকে ৫০ গ্রাম গাঁজাসহ রুবেলকে গ্রেফতার করে। পরে তাদেরকে সদর উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা আফরোজা আক্তার চৌধুরীর ভ্রাম্যমান আদালতে হাজির করা হলে আদালত তাদেরকে উক্ত সাজা প্রদান করেন। ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আফরোজা আক্তার চৌধুরী মিজমিজি সাহেব পাড়া এলাকায় কয়েল কারখানায় ভ্রাম্যমান আদালতের অভিযান পরিচালনা করায় র্যাব ও পুলিশ গ্রেফতারকৃতদের সেখানে নিয়ে যায়। এসময় আদালতের নির্দেশে উদ্ধারকৃত গাঁজা জনসম্মুখে আগুনে পুড়িয়ে ধ্বংস করে ফেলা হয়। পরে সাজাপ্রাপ্ত ২ মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে সরসরি কারাগারে প্রেরণ করা হয়।
