নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( রূপগঞ্জ প্রতিনিধি ) : নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জে মাদক ব্যবসায় বাধাঁ দেওয়ায় মাদক ব্যবসায়ীরা স্বামী-স্ত্রীকে কুপিয়ে জখম করা হয়েছে বলে অভিযোগ পাওয়া গেছে। বুধবার সকালে উপজেলার কায়েতপাড়া ইউনিয়নের চনপাড়া পূর্নবাসন কেন্দ্রে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।
আহত শাহিদা বেগম জানান, শাহ-আলম চনপাড়া পূর্নবাসন কেন্দ্র এলাকার একজন বড় ধরনের মাদক ব্যবসায়ী। শাহ-আলমের বিরুদ্ধে রূপগঞ্জ থানায় মাদকসহ বিভিন্ন ধরনের মামলা রয়েছে। শাহ আলমের মাদক ব্যবসায় বাধা প্রদান করে আসছে শাহিদা বেগমের স্বামী গোলজার হোসেন । মাদক ব্যবসায় বাধাঁ প্রদান করায় শাহ-আলম ক্ষিপ্ত হয়ে সহযোগীদের নিয়ে দেশীয় অস্ত্র শস্ত্রে সজ্জিত হয়ে গোলজার হোসেনকে এলোপাতারি ভাবে কুপিয়ে জখম করে।
এসময় শাহিদা বেগম স্বামী গোলজার হোসেনকে বাচাঁতে এগিয়ে আসলে তাকেও পিটিয়ে আহত করে। এসময় গোলজার হোসেনের কাছ থেকে নগদ ৩ হাজার টাকা ও একটি মোবাইল সেট ছিনিয়ে নেয়। আহতদের উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে ভর্তি করা হয়।
এ ব্যাপারে রূপগঞ্জ থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) ইসমাইল হোসেন জানান, এ ধরনের একটি অভিযোগ পেয়েছি। অভিযুক্তদের বিরুদ্ধে তদন্ত মোতাবেক ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
