নারায়ণগঞ্জ বার্তা ২৪ ( প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তি ) : আগামী নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি করর্পোরেশন নির্বাচনে বিএনপির কোন প্রার্থী দাড়াতে দিবে না শামীম ওসমান এর এমন একটি বক্তব্যের প্রতিক্রিয়া জানিয়ে নগর বিএনপির সাধারণ সম্পাদক এটিএম কামাল বলেন, তিনি শামীম ওসামন একথা বলার কে ? দেশনেত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়া ও বিএনপির সিনিয়র ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান দেশ নায়ক তারেক রহমান আসন্ন নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি করর্পোরেশন নির্বাচনে অংশগ্রহন করার চূরান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নিবেন এবং যাকেই প্রার্থী করবেন বিএনপির তৃনমূল নেতাকর্মীরা জীবন বাজী রেখে সেই প্রার্থীর পক্ষে নির্বাচন করবে ইনশাল্লাহ। আগামী সিটি করর্পোরেশন নির্বাচনে বিএনপির প্রার্থী থাকবে কি থাকবে না তা সময়েই বলে দিবে।

এটিএম কামাল আরো বলেন, আওয়ামী লীগ গণতন্ত্রে বিশ্বাস করে না তার শামীম ওসামন এই বক্তব্যে এটিই প্রমান হয়। তার এরকম বক্তব্য এটা নতুন কিছু নয়। ক্ষমতার সময়ে তিনি এমন হুংকার দিলেও, ক্ষমতায় না থাকলে দেশেই থাকেন না।

প্রসঙ্গত, বৃহস্পতিবার ২১ জুলাই সকাল থেকে বিকাল ৪টা পর্যন্ত নারায়ণগঞ্জ শহরের ইসদাইরে বাংলা ভবন কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে নারায়ণগঞ্জ মহানগর আওয়ামী লীগের একটি বিশেষ বর্ধিত সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

সভায় শামীম ওসমান আসন্ন সিটি করর্পোরেশন নির্বাচন প্রসঙ্গে বলেন, আগামীতে ইনশাল্লাহ আনোয়ার ভাই সিটি করর্পোরেশন নির্বাচনে নৌকার প্রতীক পেয়ে মেয়র নির্বাচিত হবে। আর ঐ নির্বাচন হবে আন-কনটেস্ট। বিএনপির প্রার্থী কে হয় আমি দেখবো। তবে আনোয়ার ভাই আন কনটেস্টে বিনা প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতায় পাশ করবে এটা নিশ্চিত।
